That's from December, but I still like it.

Also, Approaching Pavonis Mons By Balloon (Utopia Planitia) by The Flaming Lips is probably the best song ever to leave on loop in the background. I really love it. The company I ordered my camera from told me they'd send out a new adapter, however, it'll be going to my mom's house, where I initially ordered it from. So it'll take a little extra time to get it. As soon as I do, I'll hopefully be starting the 365. I suppose that means I'll need to pay for my flickr account, so I can hold more. However, obviously if the traveling thing DOES work out, then I won't be able to post every day, so much as take a picture every day and post perhaps in bundles later. Ah, well. I'm happy with where I live; I just wish there were more to do.

Also, I've decided to simply get over to North Carolina and kick it with my sis' for a while, before I fly out to see Leyda and Amber in California. That way I can take a nice break and enjoy Charlotte, and Jess' can show me around.

Mambo~

balcony view

I missed the actual storm, but, huzzah, snow.

There is a possibility of me backpacking across the US this summer. Ah, that'd be so delightful. It's not a for certain yet, because I'm hoping to go with my friend Ruki from Canada. If she doesn't pull through, which she might not, then I'll be taking summer courses as originally planned. Alas, I'm not brave enough to go it alone. At least not yet. I'll be hitting several states, though, and if you've got a couch and are willing to show us around to the small, local places, that'd be great!

My route, hopefully, will be as follows:
Up through the Grand Canyon to Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and then fly over to California, then fly home for school. It'll be INSANE. I'm going to have a tent for most of it, though. I'll update this with loads o' pics o' my travels.

I've got my camera now, but they sent the wrong adapter. Therefore I've yet to really have it up and running, but once I do, oh!

Currently I'm in the school library. Most likely...most posts will be made from here, because my internet at home is complete shite. Once mother moves up here in April or May, this will no longer be the case.

So, the times they are a'changing, and so am I. Once I'm out of college, I'll be on the move! My job will provide for many travel opportunities, and if things go well, I'll be able to do just that. I'm a big nomad at heart. I want to see and experience the world. No reserves, as it were. Maybe not quite in the vein of Mr. Bear Grylls, but, you get the idea. For the short term, my hope is to go to California this August, and visit Davis, San Fransisco, and Oakland. Not really in the couch-surfing manner, which I'm more prone to fantasize about, but to visit my cousin, and then some friends of hers, and then my friend, whom I haven't seen in years! It should be glorious. :D
