I like the way we carry on.

Being in a subway system doesn't have to be dreary and gray. Check out these awesome subway rails all across the globe. Many more here.

I've been in a huge decorating kick. In my mind, at least. I keep looking through etsy for all kinds of things I'd want in my house.

His eyes were as red as the sun.

Way back when, I talked about going to Sapna Cafe, and mother and I went again. Although I like it, they have no idea what a Lassi is. However, if you live in the Phoenix area, I suggest giving them some lovin'. They're downtown, on 1301 W. Grand Ave.

I went on a hike this morning. It didn't really end well, though, as I got nauseous and dizzy, and my mom poured ice cold water on me, which almost put my body in shock. Uber suck. However, later today I went to the Grand Avenue Festival. It was great! Loads of music acts; I loved so many of them. The little flyer thing neglected to mention many of the bands' names, though, so mom and I had to ask them. I tried taking pictures, but my camera seriously has no aperture at night. I also saw the Painfully hip gal, but had no ability to talk to her. :C I'm so painfully shy.

There just aren't enough 'o's in smooth.

I've always wanted to live in a tree house. They just seem like so much fun.

Incredible how you can see right through me.

The Uniform Project is an interesting concept. The idea being, having only a few base clothing items and basing your outfits around them with different accessories. How does one make something versatile, and constantly change the looks, with only a few options at hand? She's using the donations for a good cause, so check it out!

Are you gonna take me home tonight?

That's my happy face!
This is from Thursday the 17th. I drew the pattern on my shirt too big, though, oops. It doesn't look nearly as cool as it does in real life.

Beautiful ad in I believe Sweden.

This ad made me squee so much. It's such a great ending.

I'm glad I found this again. Leo Lionni used to be one of my favorites.

My friend showed me this, and I'm so glad she did; it's so amazing. I can't wait until the soundtrack gets released.

North Carolina pt 2

I tried to go on lots of walks every day when I was there, because the weather was so nice, even if it was crazy-humid. While much of it was downtown, a good deal was spent on the train tracks, and in the creek underneath it. I was caught in a flash storm once, and was completely soaked, because I got lost. It killed my poor old phone for while I was there.

North Carolina pt 1

North Carolina was so fantastically green compared to Phoenix. And, being that I'm utterly in love with nature, pretty much all of the photos I took were of plants and trees. These are a bunch of my favorite flower pictures from my trip there in August. I forgot to bring my charger with me, unfortunately. There were so many other lovely things I wanted to photograph before my stay was up, but the battery up and died on me half-way through my visit.

These are from my sister's front yard.

I found this lovely thing under one of the bushes when we went blueberry picking out in the country.

The rest of these are from a small park not far from where my sister lives, that featured native plants.

Unfortunately the scanner made it pretty hard to see some of the detail, but...remember way back when I said I'd be making outfit posts in a different manner than you think? WELL...HERE IS THE FIRST. Of..who knows how often I'll post these. I bought some moleskins in which to document these. :D We'll see how it goes.

This is such a lovely series. I've always wanted to do something like this, but never had a friend whom I thought would do it with me.
