Do you know the way to Sante Fe?

Do you know the way to San Jose?

Okay..sorry, lame joke.

Anyway, look at all the snow! I'll split this into a few posts, since my last one was crazy long. Sorry 'bout that. I get a bit photo happy sometimes. These were from a huge four day storm that hit. Every time I'd wake up, it would still be snowing. I felt like a bear, because I just slept most of the time. I'd look outside and be like, "Well...back to bed, I suppose!" There ended up being about 5 feet, where it wasn't plowed. And the plowing would pile it up even higher on the sides, so there are still towers eight feet high or more of snow.

Buster is intrigued.

Apartment.

Huzzah! I finally have my laptop. :D I've never actually owned a laptop before, so it feels pretty neat. Yeah.... Anywho, here're some pics of my apartment! I haven't gotten around to resizing all the awesome shots of the snow, but I'll post those soon! Check out my flickr for a bunch more.

Everything on the top shelf and the coats to the left are for sale.

That is a page of stickers I've yet to scan in. I haven't been able to find my printer CD to install it.

I moved into my new place a week ago, but as I have no internet, updating has and will be sparse for a tad. However, I ordered a laptop with a wifi card, as my old computer died again officially, and rather than try and keep using it, I think it's time I finally invest in a laptop. So, fairly soon -this week, I hope- I will show you some artwork I've made for the shop, and lots of pictures of snoww. :D We just had a storm, and it's expected to keep snowing all week. I'm not sure if I can keep doing the 365, however, because I hadn't backed up a good deal, probably 200 of my photos, when it died. We'll see how far back the things left on my camera go, but I may have to shut it down. Which is sad. Oh well, I was at least able to clean the lense on my camera, thankfully, when I went back to visit my mom over the holiday weekend.

Hope you're all having a good week.

This year I have decided I am going to make a concerted effort to get my etsy really running, and to sell my artwork.

I have two of these for sale right now. I will be making many more cards soon and I'll have sheets of hand-drawn stickers, and much more! I am super excited to actually start using all the fun paper and art supplies I have around, and to actually make a little bit of income from my art. So stay tuned and keep an eye on the store.

Here's to hoping this year proves fruitful and full of creative production!

Happy New Years!

I was in Flagstaff for the first day of the new year, setting up my apartment with the first load of things. This year went by way too quickly... Hopefully next year I'll be able to get more of what I want done. I have several resolutions, but we all know how hard they are to keep, haha. For breakfast mom and I went to The Campus Coffee Bean. I'd recommend it, if only for atmosphere. Their bagel sandwiches are great, but I've had better croissants. They have a really interesting selection of music, though, and do occasionally have live music, which is cool.

How was your New Years?
