These were taken by German artists Barbara & Michael Leisgen. They're really beautiful. I love the simplicity and emphasis on blending in with nature.

Here is a round-up of interior design pictures that have been inspiring me lately. The kitchen is one of the most important rooms in a house to me. I can't wait to be able to really do with one what I want. Lately, I've been contemplating getting a nice, folding dining room table. I figured they'd be relatively cheap, but from what I've seen online they're just as expensive as regular tables. I've also been considering getting some more house plants. Currently, I have three very large ones, but I wouldn't mind a nice small one. I accidentally killed a small plant I had, when things from a top shelf fell over while I was holding it and broke it right in half. :( There are very few places in my house where Buster wouldn't eat it, unfortunately. I've started trying to tally my belongings for the "Everything I Have" project. Numbers change with what I end up deciding to sell, and new things I've purchased. Speaking of purchases, I bought some boots for work.

They came with brown laces, and I traded them out with some red ones I had. :D I'm really happy with them.

This year, however, I've decided to try and not buy anything aside from food, and the occasional household item I may need. I may cave during my birthday, haha. But, for the most part, I'm pretty satisfied with what I own, and don't want anything else, other than more camping gear, possible entertainment things, and biking clothes. I'm excited to see how much I sell this year. There is so much in the shop right now, and I still have more. I'm likely not going to list anything new for a while, though, until the numbers start to go down a good deal. Go check it out!

You're obsessed with finding a new brain.

Easy-over egg, pancakes, and cut up pear.

Asparagus, and pumpkin gnocchi and carrots cooked in Teriyaki sauce.

Home-made butternut squash soup with cooked onions and carrots, topped with pine nuts. It was terribly time consuming, but terribly delicious.

Don't disturb the beast.

Photo dump! I really need to get into the habit of doing these more. This year we had a surprisingly long and glorious fall season. It was perfect for hiking and taking lots of photos. I loved all the different colors.

There are more on my Flickr.

And we danced.

I just love my kitty's belly.

I made vegan dinosaur sugar cookies! They were so cute. I ate most of them...

Just a preview of what's been listed so far to my craft shop! Check it out. I will be listing a bunch more, mostly beads.

My name is.

Day 5- best friend

Here is day five, which is best friend. I couldn't pick one, so I did both Ruki and Nikol. Though I did draw more in 2010 than I did in 2009, it was sad just how little I really did. So, this year, I've decided to complete one drawing every week. Which I realize isn't truly that much, but it's more than what I'd been doing.

Also, I've opened another etsy shop, to sell all types of craft supplies that I've collected over the years and have let just sit there. I'd rather they go to new homes that will actually use them. Nothing's uploaded as of yet, but I have a whole bunch of stuff.

It's called PirateStash.

I will make updates for it as I get things uploaded! Don't forget to check my ebay shop. I have many more things to list.

Spotlight.

Msthingsandstuff makes really cool cowls, and jewelry, and sells vintage.

This is mine. I love it. She uses super soft sweaters to make them, and has a bunch of cool colors to choose from, if you want a custom one instead of the ones listed.

In other news, happy late new years! I never really feel much about it. I tend to find myself focusing more on academic years than calendar years, other than the inevitable having to learn a new number when signing checks, etc. Did y'all do anything fun? I just sat around my apartment and cleaned. Super exciting, I know. But it was good to finally sort through some piles of paper I had going. I didn't really make 'new years' resolutions, solely because they were things on which I'd already been trying to work, so, we'll see how that goes. I'm going to make myself draw today.
