You're aces, kid.

Doing a round-up of breakfasts I'd made while I still lived in Flagstaff. That was the main meal I ate there.

Untitled
Tofu and mango chutney, a nectarine, eggplant slices cooked in soy sauce, potatoes, carrots and bell peppers cooked and served with Greek yogurt, and soymilk.

Untitled
An easy-over egg, orange slices, home-made stuffing (it was really good), tofu slices cooked with soy sauce, and coffee.

Untitled
Steamed green beans, sliced apple, thinly sliced cooked potato, avocado and tomato slices on top of an egg cooked with bell pepper and onion.

Untitled
Cinnamon raisin English muffin with Greek yogurt, fried bananas, strawberry slices, easy-over egg cooked in left-over soy sauce, mushrooms and black beans cooked in soy sauce and lime juice, and cooked asparagus.

Untitled
Asparagus cooked with s&p, avocado slices, mango slices, easy-over egg, potatoes cooked with basil and topped with Greek yogurt, and orange juice.

Untitled
Ciabatta bread, egg plant slices cooked in soy sauce, cooked onion and bell pepper slices, and Greek yogurt, avocado slices, potato wedges cooked in s&p, apple slices and blueberries, and soymilk.

Untitled
Bread with little elephants cut out and an egg cooked in the middle so the yolk is in tact, cooked onion and bell pepper slices, potato slices cooked with a little paprika, chili powder and cumin, and a sliced banana.

Untitled
Baked potato with ketchup, quail eggs (they're surprisingly creamy), fake sausages from the Asian market (they taste a bit like...matzo), French bread with peanut butter, and mozzarella with maple syrup, an orange and coffee.

Untitled
French toast topped with fried bananas and powdered sugar, cooked left-over egg from batter, watermelon slices and strawberries.

Untitled
Chick peas, yellow squash, bell pepper, mushrooms cooked with curry, turmeric, s&p, cooked potato and onion slices, easy-over egg and tofu slices.

Untitled
This was one of my most favorite breakfasts...it came out so well, and hit so many tastes.
Cinnamon raisin English muffin, banana slices and honey, easy-over egg and cooked mushroom slices, tofu with bbq sauce, potato wedges cooked with tomato slices, cooked bell pepper and onion slices and tea.

Untitled
The lighting in this photo doesn't make it seem as appealing, but...
Potato and onion slices cooked in chili powder, s&p, cumin, coriander and turmeric, golden tomatoes, spinach, bell pepper cooked and topped with mozzarella in the pan so it melted, easy-over egg, and cooked asparagus.

Sitting here...

Recent purchases of mine:

This tapestry is so beautiful, I love it. I plan to use it as a twin sheet, but I dunno for sure yet.

It took me a very long time deliberating what I wanted exactly, but I finally decided on this for my curtain:

I think the pattern is beautiful, and of all the color combinations, this one was my favorite. When it arrives I'll probably be able to better tell, but I'm happy with it.

Unfortunately I lost my job at the YMCA recently, so I'm now trying to find another job/internship to fulfill my class. Now that I'm looking cold, I've decided to take it more in a direction I'd like to go with my life and am attempting to get an internship with a pilates studio. Although this means I will not have any money coming in anymore, and this really sucks, any experience I can get toward becoming a pilates teacher is monumental for me. I've looked up the certification courses and the first two major portions will be in February and March in Cornelius. My brother-in-law's parents live that way, and have graciously said I can stay at their place for the night on those two weekends. I'm pretty stoked. Being a pilates instructor is something I think I will truly enjoy doing. I've been trying to further my fitness, by biking 14 miles a day when I worked at the Y, as well as running, lifting weights, yoga and other videos I have at home. It feels so phenomenal, and is the best way to spend my time.

My life essentially revolves around exercise, cooking and reading.

These are all from: here. So cute. I love fun things to further organize my desk/ideas.

I looove this. I'd probably have to get two, and string up a bunch of photos. From: here.

I really would like some curtains for my windows. I'd want them to be sheer and bring in a little light, but not too much. I like Indian patterns. This one from here is pretty.

From: here. I love this sooo much, but the $95 price tag is just out of my justification range.

Speaking of dinosaurs, how awesome is this ring? But I don't really wear rings...I lose them. From: here.

I love these lighting fixtures with candles.

Then there's this... This is made from loads of tiny acrylic gummy bears! It's cool, but I'd never buy it.

Who's that I see walkin' in these woods?

It seems I've been bit by the baking bug as of late. I'm normally not really into baking at all. Although I've decided that every Sunday, from now on, I'd like to bake a loaf of bread from scratch. I much prefer things to be homemade than store-bought, if possible, and who doesn't love fresh, warm bread from the oven?

Muffins with apples, chai, cinnamon, brown sugar, carrots, raisins, and walnuts.

Untitled
Scones with dried cherries and walnuts, and a light cranberry icing. It was the best recipe I've found so far.

Untitled
Those black things are raisins that got swollen and burned in the oven. Pear tart.

Untitled
Vegan hamantaschen. Didn't turn out how I'd wanted.

Untitled
Chocolate apricot bars. Really tasty.

Untitled
Rosemary naan. :D Super good. Only made one big piece, which my mom and I devoured.

No chocolate candy covered hearts to give away...

I'll admit I'm pretty excited about fall. Right now summer has its reign. The muggy air is thick; it clings to your skin in a film of sweat. The greens are so brilliant, they are nearly iridescent; they must be from a fairy-tale, they are so prevalent. The sun is a searing dot of white in the sky.

I love these flowers so, so much!

Beautiful, lush summer gardens. I yearn to grow things.

Everything about this photo is perfect. The lighting, the pretty table with fresh food, the big windows, the house plants. Via: letssummersail.

I really love the simplicity and setup of this tiny shack. It seems so peaceful. I also really want that shelving system for all my spices and dried odds and ends.

Though this is a photo, the water at their feet looks remarkably like paint.

Last but not least, the new glasses I will be getting! I'm so excited. They have math symbols on them! I just have to ask the Nationwide Vision in Flagstaff to send me a copy of my prescription so I can fill it out online.
