North Carolina pt 1

North Carolina was so fantastically green compared to Phoenix. And, being that I'm utterly in love with nature, pretty much all of the photos I took were of plants and trees. These are a bunch of my favorite flower pictures from my trip there in August. I forgot to bring my charger with me, unfortunately. There were so many other lovely things I wanted to photograph before my stay was up, but the battery up and died on me half-way through my visit.

These are from my sister's front yard.

I found this lovely thing under one of the bushes when we went blueberry picking out in the country.

The rest of these are from a small park not far from where my sister lives, that featured native plants.

Song of the day: Garbage- Milk.

Unfortunately the scanner made it pretty hard to see some of the detail, but...remember way back when I said I'd be making outfit posts in a different manner than you think? WELL...HERE IS THE FIRST. Of..who knows how often I'll post these. I bought some moleskins in which to document these. :D We'll see how it goes.

Song of the day: Perdoa, Meu Amor- Marisa Monte.

Hi-dee hi-dee hi-dee ho.

This is such a lovely series. I've always wanted to do something like this, but never had a friend whom I thought would do it with me.

Song of the day: Cab Calloway- Minnie the Moocher.

Listen, listen.

The park is one of my favorite places to take pictures. I like capturing the reflections on the water. And of course ducks/geese. ♥

Song of the day: Feed The Birds- Mary Poppins.

It's only you, who can turn my wooden heart.

These are absolutely adorable; I want one of every letter.

They somewhat reminded me of the toys that came in the kinder eggs my friend sent me, since they come in little pieces and you have to assemble them.

Song of the day: Portishead- Only You.

Smile.

Wilson A. Bentley was the first person to photograph snowflakes. Aren't they beautiful?

Song of the day: Vitas- Opera 2.

Hear that, Samson?

Check out these awesome old school Coke bottles! There are more here.

Song of the day: Sleeping Beauty- Once Upon A Dream.
