How do...

Mm. Life is a bit...weird, lately. I'm unemployed again... I suppose this gives me time to work on other things. I've boosted my workout regiment again, as of the last two months, and it feels wonderful. I'm hoping to look a bit into non profits around the country, and see what they have to offer/if I find one in which I'm interested/qualified to work for.

I think I should start using this space to help me get more organized with my life. At least, a little bit. I'm going to write a few goals I have each month, and then hopefully at the end of the month, I will have done a few of them or be in the process of working on them. Since it's the last day of this month, I'll wait until March to begin those posts. In the meantime, since I worked with dogs for so long, I've been somewhat daydreaming of owning my own. I wouldn't adopt a dog until I were financially stable and had a place with a yard. These are my two favorite types:

Morrow Mountain pt. 2

On another trip to the mountain, my friend and I were completely rained out. It'd been pouring pretty hard on the drive up, but we thought it might clear up upon our arrival. It did, but only off and on, so I only was able to snap a shot of the top view. We began hiking in a light drizzle, heard thunder and smelled the subsequent burning of a lightning strike, and it began to pour again, so we essentially ran back out. On the drive back, we stopped by some interesting buildings.

Morrow Mountain pt. 1

Apparently I disappeared from the internet last year. I had an apprenticeship which is now a job (though the hours were severely cut) working at a doggie daycare place and training dogs. It's fun, but exhausting. I like it, though. I'm going to attempt to make Fridays photo-dump days again, like I used to. These are some photos from a hike I took. It was super beautiful. I love the east coast fall. I'll probably marvel at it each year. I don't want to ever get used to it.

I really need the deed...to a platinum mine.

Untitled

I went out for a really short walk today...my fingers were starting to get super painfully cold without gloves, and collected a bunch of pretty fall leaves. Originally I was going to make a garland, but I don't have much room for something that long, so I just taped them to the wall in a gradient pattern. I really like it. Fall is by far my favorite season. I have loads of photos from a few hiking trips to upload soon!

She got a smile.

It's been a week? What? How!? I had posts planned, even! Jeez. Well...maybe I'll pay more attention this time around. Sheesh. More of me living vicariously. Ahh, dream life.
