Love is for lovers.

Goodness I haven't been posting much this month. I should get on that. Happy late Valentine's day.


Apple slices, bell pepper, onion and carrots cooked in teriyaki sauce, with egg whites and avocado.


Rice cooked in cumin, paprika and turmeric, zucchini, onions and bell pepper cooked in tomato puree, fresh tomatoes and basil, baked with mozzarella, a hard boiled egg, and a non-pictured salad of lettuce, oranges, cucumber and avocado, tossed with oil salt and pepper.

Udon noodles, fried tofu, carrots, potatoes and onions cooked in curry.


Apples baked with milk, brown sugar, nutmeg, lime zest and juice and topped with powdered sugar.

She dreams in colors, she dreams in red.

I've been furiously struggling with my internet lately, it's awful. Here's a Tuesday Eats. A resolution I have from now on is to cook more interesting/complicated things than just my simple fall back way of cooking, which is to make things with a sauce and a bed of pasta/rice. While tasty, it can get old, and I have so many good veggies from the food co-op. I'm super excited, actually. I've bought a new cookbook and have been saving lots of things from online. I'm also going to be making my own things of as much as I can from now on, such as jam, yogurt (I made my own strawberry yogurt, it was delicious! But I ate it all before I took pics.), bread, etc! I want to stop buying so much plastic, and I'd rather know what's in my food.


Farm fresh Italian bread with a fried egg and homemade balsamic, strawberry jam.


Potatoes, carrots and onions cooked in balsamic vinegar and rosemary.


Mushroom risotto with slightly burnt caramelized onions, and roasted asparagus topped with garlic and onion cooked in balsamic vinegar.
